Renewal Windows, FINRA Questions, and Branch Agency Billing

More accurate renewal timing, FINRA numbers only where they're needed, and billing for branch agencies.

Renewal windows are more accurate

The logic behind upcoming renewals was reworked. States disagree about when a renewal window opens, and InsureTrek was applying a broader rule than several states actually use. Renewal dates now reflect each state's own window, which means the upcoming renewals list is shorter and the things on it are genuinely actionable.

FINRA where it's needed

The FINRA CRD number is now optional on background questions rather than required of everyone. Producers who sell variable products still need it and are still asked; producers who don't are no longer blocked by a field that never applied to them. Existing records were backfilled so nobody has to re-enter what they already provided.

Branch agency billing

Branch agencies get their own billing page, so an agency operating branches can see and manage billing at the level where it's actually owned.

Other improvements

  • Washington reinstatements are restricted where the state doesn't permit them, instead of failing after submission
  • Agency license tracking corrected for a case where licenses weren't being counted
  • Sorting fixed on agency names in the sidebar and on renewal payment columns
