A Home Screen for Every Kind of Producer

Producers, LOA-only producers, and pre-licensed hires each get a home screen built around what they can actually do.

"Producer" turned out to be several different people. Someone fully licensed and selling has a different day than someone waiting on their first license, or someone who only holds a line of authority through an upline. They were all getting the same screen.

Now each gets their own. A producer signing in sees the state of their licenses and what needs them next. A producer working under an upline's authority sees the version that matches how they actually sell, without the parts that don't apply. A pre-licensed hire sees the steps between them and their first license, rather than an empty version of a screen designed for someone who has one.

Admins get the matching view. Pre-licensed producers show up on the admin home screen alongside everyone else, so someone in progress isn't invisible until their license lands.

Producers can also be onboarded without a resident license on file yet, which is the situation most new hires are actually in.

Other improvements

  • NPNs can be added to a producer who was created without one
  • Phone numbers format consistently across onboarding and profiles
  • Status wording is consistent between the e-signature steps and the rest of contracting
