Ownership, DRLPs, and Watching for Changes
Record agency ownership and designated responsible licensed producers, and get told when a producer's record changes at the state.
Agency licensing asks two questions individual licensing never does: who owns this agency, and who is responsible for it in each state. Both are now first-class.
Ownership
Agency ownership details — owners, their percentages, and the identifying information states ask for — are recorded on the agency and reused across applications instead of re-entered each time. Percentages are validated so an ownership structure that doesn't add up is caught before a state rejects it.
DRLPs
You can designate a responsible licensed producer per state, change that designation as your team changes, and see the current DRLP alongside the license they're responsible for. DRLPs update as part of onboarding and offboarding, so someone leaving doesn't silently remain on record as responsible for a state. Their identifying details are stored encrypted.
Watching for changes
InsureTrek now watches producer records at the state level and surfaces changes you didn't initiate — a status change, an updated address, a renewal date that moved. These arrive as alerts on the record rather than as something you find during an audit.
Other improvements
- Watchlists let you follow a set of producers and filter to just them
- Renewal configuration is tracked per state, since no two states agree on the window
