Carrier Contracting Comes to InsureTrek

Set up your carriers, onboard through your FMO, and start contracting producers in the same place you manage their licenses.

Licensing gets a producer legally able to sell. Contracting gets them able to sell your carriers' products. Those have always been two systems and two spreadsheets. This release brings the second one into InsureTrek.

Start by setting up your carriers. Tell InsureTrek which carriers you work with and how your agency is configured with each one, and that setup becomes the basis for everything that follows.

From there you can begin contracting for a producer from their record — the same record that already holds their licenses, states, and appointments. Agencies that onboard through an FMO can submit that request through InsureTrek and track where it stands, rather than emailing and waiting.

Contracting preferences are configurable per agency, because carriers don't agree on much and neither do the agencies working with them. Upline and downline information travels with the request, so the carrier gets the relationship they're expecting to see.

This is the first version, and it's deliberately narrow: carrier setup, contracting requests, and status. What it replaces is the part nobody enjoys, which is knowing where a contracting request currently sits.
